HVAC Technician

At Luxury Climate HVAC Ltd., we are seeking a seasoned, Certified HVAC Technician to execute our high performance heat pump and furnace retrofit projects. While your primary focus will be on residential installations, you will also play a key role in our expanding commercial division.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind a successful installation. You will set the standard for quality, ensure your jobs go smoothly from start to finish, and frequently work alongside a helper or apprentice. What You'll Be Doing

As our HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the complete, high quality installation of primarily residential and increasingly commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

  • Installations: Execute full system retrofits from start to finish with precision and code compliance across both residential and commercial job sites.

  • Technical Execution: Complete refrigerant line sets, gas line connections, electrical connections, and ductwork modifications.

  • Service & Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, perform necessary maintenance and repairs, order replacement parts, and accurately check and process equipment warranties.

  • Job Management: Run your daily jobs efficiently, maintain an organized van setup, and make critical troubleshooting decisions on the fly.

  • Tech-Enabled Workflow: Utilize our CRM platform (Housecall Pro) via phone to manage job dispatching, track materials, and close out service tickets accurately.

  • Teamwork & Mentorship: Work alongside a helper or apprentice, guiding them on-site to ensure they meet Luxury Climate’s high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

  • Quality Assurance: Commission and test installed systems to manufacturer standards and conduct final walkthroughs to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Comfort Advisor, you will act as a trusted consultant to our clients, guiding them through their HVAC solutions while upholding our commitment to a premium customer experience. Because we are a growing small business, you will also play a key role in building our internal processes.

Your first three months will be a probationary period focused on safety fundamentals, tool use, attention to detail, and reliability. After completing this period, you will enter our registered apprenticeship program and begin your path toward Red Seal certification with full mentorship and training support.
